But I'm glad you found happiness in other things.Danihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12472797052814378283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5262061496957821421.post-13731425292977683212008-06-23T19:19:00.000-07:002008-06-23T19:19:00.000-07:00Make that 80 hours a week.Make that 80 hours a week.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5262061496957821421.post-28353592663796971602008-06-23T19:17:00.000-07:002008-06-23T19:17:00.000-07:00You know, 5 years ago I might have said doing a gr...You know, 5 years ago I might have said doing a great job managing a manufacturing plant, wearing several hats and making a great salary.

Well that changed when the boss decided he was embarrassed that a woman was running his company. It was a real downer when I was laid off and had to reassess my priorities.

And THAT's when I started exploring my passion for writing and looking at the important things at this stage of my life.

I don't want to work 800 hours a week anymore. It doesn't take as much to make me happy these days. With the economy the way it is, I want to stay fairly debt free so I won't feel pressured to take a job I don't like.

If I can pay bills doing something I don't abhor and write to my heart's content, and maybe work in some singing gigs, I'd probably be in success heaven.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
